PMRA Canadian Representative

A Canadian point of contact for your pest control product registration, without opening an office here.

The Parliament buildings on Parliament Hill in Ottawa

When is a PMRA representative required

Per §62(2) of the Pest Control Products Act:

An applicant or registrant who does not reside in Canada must designate a representative who resides in Canada to whom correspondence, notices and documents can be sent, and must inform the Minister in writing of that designation.

When applicable, this information must be supplied as part of a complete PMRA application package.

How it works

  1. Initial contact
Send us a brief email describing your product and where things stand with your PMRA registration.
  2. Quotation
We will review what representation involves for your file and provide service options and pricing for your review.
  3. Agreement and documentation
Once you agree with our pricing, we will send you the necessary documents, including the service agreement and the representative designation for your PMRA application package.
  4. Review and sign
Review the service agreement, sign it, and fill in the required information for the designation. Return both documents to us for our review and signatures.
  5. Finalization and payment
We will send you the countersigned agreement and the signed designation, along with an invoice for payment. Payment is not required in advance.
  6. Submission to the PMRA
The signed designation is submitted with your application, or filed to update an existing registration, per §62(2) of the Pest Control Products Act.
